HAWKs Kids

Description

Hawks (Hiking Adventures With Kids) runs outdoor day camps and after-school programs for ages 5-12 in the greater Los Angeles area. Explorers discover coastal sage scrub hillsides, shaded canyon trails, and native wildlife like western fence lizards, red-tailed hawks, and coast live oaks at green spaces like Griffith Park and Debs Park. Guided by WFA and CPR-certified naturalist educators in small groups (1:7 ratio), they learn trail safety, Leave No Trace principles, and genuine curiosity about the outdoors. Year-round programming includes summer day camps, after-school sessions, and school breaks. Day camps offer direct drop-off or transportation; transportation provided for after-school programs.
