  • Ricardo Granados.

    Instructor

    Ricardo was born and raised here in LA. He started as a spin instructor and then discovered reformer Pilates which he immediately fell in love with. Who knew how amazing your body would feel after 1 single class of reformer Pilates? He is certified through the Club Pilates program where he also became certified as a barre instructor. When he's not teaching Pilates, Ricardo enjoys spending time with his 2 lovely yorkies.

  • Sean Colley

    Instructor

    After living with a back injury for several years and also having surgery that left him with titanium screws in his hip, Sean Colley started to explore yoga and Pilates to help remedy his pain. Sean was introduced to the classical Pilates method and began attending classes. Reaping the benefits of Pilates (such as greatly reduced back pain, better posture, and overall wellness through mind-body connection), Sean made the decision to enroll in Whole Body Method's Pilates Instructor Program. The program brought Sean to a whole new level of understanding Pilates and has changed his life in many positive ways. Sean is a firm believer in the advantages of a routine Pilates practice. He is dedicated to sharing the benefits of Pilates with others. He is keen to work with people from all different backgrounds that suffer from pain and discomfort, and want to explore Pilates as a viable means of healing and strengthening the body. Sean has completed the following: 500-hour classical Pilates Instruction Certification 200-hour Hatha/Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Training Plus additional workshops on select apparatus including: Springboard, Cadillac, Wunda Chair, Barre, and TRX Whether you're a beginner to Pilates or more advanced, Sean will challenge you using multiple apparatus, mixing both modern and classical Pilates. Sean creates a welcoming and fun environment in his classes and plays a range of music from classic rock to Motown and everything in between. You can find Sean riding bicycles at the beach, hiking in the mountains and walking his dogs Gomez and Annabelle Carolina when he's not teaching.

  • Yara Figueroa

    Instructor

    Originally from Georgia, Yara grew up as a classical ballet dancer, and studied with many prominent schools and companies around the US. Through her dance training, she was introduced to the benefits of Pilates and adopted it into her practice at a young age. Her love of movement evolved after completing her certification through Club Pilates. She now brings her attention to detail, technique and creative choreography to every class. Her goal in teaching is to help others find the eloquence in their bodies, and fuel a mind-body connection with an awareness of breath that leaves students feeling accomplished, powerful and peaceful after each workout. When Yara is not teaching, she might be walking her dog around Echo Park, taking too many pictures of her cat, acting, dancing, or taking another class on a reformer next to her awesome students.

  • Erin DeCoursey

    Instructor

    Erin started Pilates in High School after being diagnosed with scoliosis. She continued studying Pilates while attending Point Park University receiving her Bachelor of Arts degree. Inspired by the changes she saw in her body, she decided to become an Instructor so that she could share the benefits of Pilates with others. She received her certification in Mat Pilates, Reformer, Chair, Tower and Barrel through Balance Body at Pilates Unlimited in Dallas, TX. In teaching, Erin prefers to focus on proper alignment and form, inspired by her own misalignment. Erin loves helping people of all fitness levels reach their fitness goals.
