Karen Cheng, M.D. completed her undergraduate training at Princeton University and graduated cum laude with an AB degree in Molecular Biology. She then started her medical training at Tufts University and received her Doctor of Medicine degree in 1991. Family ties drew her to southern California where she completed a residency in Internal Medicine at the UCLA Medical Center.
