Dr. Shemin was accepted out of high school (1968) into the Six Year Medical Program at Boston University. He was elected to Phi Beta Kappa and received his BA degree Magna Cum Laude. In medical school he was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha in his junior year. Dr. Shemin received his medical degree from Boston University School of Medicine in 1974.
